Thirty-seventh session the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).

HAVANA, Cuba.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Lucia, Ubaldus Raymond, assured that Cuba will play a good role over the next two years, during the pro tempore Presidency of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).

Speaking to the press during the thirty-seventh Session of the regional body, which concludes tomorrow, Raymond said that Cuba has always been a friend to the Caribbean, and as a result of that relationship mentioned the links in education, medicine and engineering.

The Chancellor of Santa Lucia reaffirmed that integration is essential, and in this way, he emphasized, we can work together to achieve a common goal.

In the Convention Palace of Havana, four panels have sessioned in this conference as part of ECLAC meeting, with a main axis: the inefficiency of inequality.
