MEXICO CITY, Mexico.- The governments of Cuba and Mexico confirmed the desire to continue to develop diplomatic political dialogue, and to expand economic-trade relations, investment and cooperation.

This was noted in his Twitter account by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez, referring to the results of the cordial meeting between Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez and his host Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

The Mexican President stated that the presence in his country of the President of Cuba is important because the Cuban and Mexican peoples are brothers, and pointed out that the link is historic, because Mexico has always had a very good relationship with the people and government of Cuba.

For his part, Diaz-Canel expressed the emotion of returning to the endearing Mexico, so linked to the Cuban history and to that of all Latin America.
