Elections for the Constituent Assembly in Venezuela.

CARACAS, Venezuela.-The Rector of the National Electoral Council, Tibisay Lucena, announced security complementary measures so that people voting in centers where acts of violence happen can participate in the elections to elect the candidates to the National Constituent Assembly.

The President of the Electoral Power said the residents in some areas of Chacao and Baruta municipalities and Leoncio Martinez and Petare parishes will vote in a contingency facility located in Caracas Polyhedron.

In the parishes where any act of violence or threat to the physical integrity of the electors is present, people may vote in any other place in the municipality where they are registered.

Lucena pointed out that people who want to know if they should vote this Sunday should review their data on the National Electoral Council website.
