UNITED NATIONS, New York.- The Comptroller General of Venezuela, Elvis Amoroso, denounced the modality some countries like the United States have to appropriating the wealth of the peoples, and committing acts of corruption.

During the Anti-corruption and Asset Recovery Convention, held in Vienna, Austria, by the United Nations, the official reported on the funds of his country retained, frozen or confiscated by banking institutions in several nations.

The Venezuelan Comptroller General pointed out that these acts of harassment of Venezuelan economic development aim to hinder the free trade of the country.

The President of the Republican Moral Council exposed the robbery of the Citgo Oil Corporation, the main Venezuelan marketer of fuel, lubricants and petrochemicals in North America, and the largest subsidiary of the state Petroleos de Venezuela.
