CARACAS, Venezuela.- The Venezuelan-Cuban Mutual Friendship and Solidarity Movement rejected the United States Government’s continued aggression towards the peoples of both nations.

In a statement, the organization denounced the application of illegitimate instruments violating international law and self-determination, framed in its argument of plundering of America for Americans, defined in the Monroe Doctrine.

Last May 2, the U.S. Government activated Title III of the Helms-Burton Act, a legal spawn of economic suffocation that reiterates its extraterritorial character for its disrespect to international law.

This instrument denies, in terms of sovereignty, all that the Cuban Revolution has conquered with the majority support of its people, the text assured.
