Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron.

Presidents Donald Trump and Emmanuel Marcon.

American President Donald Trump showed during a meeting this Thursday with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, a certain skepticism about the veracity and future implementation of the Paris Agreement on climate change.

Still, Trump considered something could happen with the aforementioned environmental agreement and if it were concrete, it would be wonderful; however, he avoided assuming that the environmental agreements signed in the gala capital by almost a hundred countries were to materialize.

The Republican president did not clarify what he was referring to with his vague assertion, and whether there could be some kind of revision to Washington´s rupture with that pact during the last GE20 Summit in Germany.

Something could happen about Paris Agreement. We will see what happens; this was the laconic statement of the White House tenant during a press conference.
