BOGOTA, Colombia.-The leader of demobilized Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-the People’s Army, FARC-EP, Timoleon Jimenez, aka Timochenko, returned to Bogota to lead the organizing tasks of the Constituent Congress of the new political party the insurgent movement will become.

The FARC-EP Congress will be held from August 27 to September 1, and after the closing of the meeting there will be a great rally in the central Bolivar Square in Bogota.

On his Twitter account Timochenko wrote: Colombia cannot remain one of the most unequal countries in the world, to change that, we will make available our new party.

In another message Jimenez pointed out that the future political party in which the guerrilla force will become will fight for workers to have the support of the State, and to have more opportunities.
