Caracas, Venezuela.- Venezuela’s Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, informed that after the investigations carried out, there are 19 people involved in the assassination attempt against President Nicolas Maduro and the political-military high command.
At the headquarters of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MP), Saab announced to the press that three of the detainees a few hours after the attack were presented today before the court that is investigating the terrorist cause.
The hearing was held before the Control Court with Competence against Terrorism, where Argenis Valero, Juan Carlos Monasterios and Jose Rivas were charged, it said. ‘It was agreed the deprivation of liberty of the three accused, the insurance of movable and immovable property and the freezing of bank accounts,’ explained the head of the MP.
He also explained that they were charged for the crimes of treason against the fatherland and intentional homicide in degree of frustration to the detriment of the head of State.
