MOSCOW, Russia. – Russia denounces the unjustifiable nature of the new package of sanctions of the United States against a score of entities of its country,
according to an official communiqué by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The note indicates that Washington is trying to accuse Russia of violating a US law that prohibits technical-military cooperation with Iran, Syria and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, which has no connection with its country.

The statement underlines that actually, the United States punishes Russia for the failed missile attack against Syria on April 14, together with France and the United Kingdom, in violation of international law.

In its desire to maintain by any possible way its hegemonic domination in the world, the United States pushes to an irrational and dangerous policy, the Russian Chancellery warns.
