Saint George, Grenada.- Grenada´s Minister of Youth, Sport, Culture , Norland Cox, expressed his gratitude for Cuba”s collaboration with that nation in various fields.

The Cuban embassy in that country, through its Twitter, reported Wednesday that the Grenadian incumbent highlighted the support in the areas of health, human resources training and other spheres, during a meeting with the Cuban ambassador, Iraida Guerrero.

Both sides at the meeting,exchanged issues of interest and assessed the possibilities of strengthening cooperation in the sports sphere, based on the agreement signed in December 2015.

That year, representatives of the two countries signed a document letter in Havana that encouraged, fostered and strengthening technical collaboration in the physical education and sport fields , with priority in the exchange of delegations, coaches, and experts.

It also called for information, documentation, study materials and methodologies exchange , and the participation of teachers and specialists in seminars, courses and scientific conferences organized in one country or another.

The two reviewed the activities to be carried out to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Grenada, established on April 14, 1979.
