CARACAS, Venezuela.-The President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, highlighted this Sunday that the regional elections have been successful, without incident, in peace, and exemplary.

There has not been a single incident, an electoral process in peace, perfect, Maduro said during a speech from the Presidential command post at Miraflores Palace, in Caracas.

The president urged to vote for the peace of the country so that the violent protests led by the opposition were not repeated this year, which left more than 100 deaths and multiple damages to public institutions. Never more the dead, never more people burned, he said in reference to the crimes of hatred against people apparently Chavista.

We have the triumph in our hands, the triumph of democracy, Maduro said after showing images of electoral centers with influx of electors, and asked the Venezuelans to consolidate peace to advance.
