BRAZILIA, Brazil.- Former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva showed this Monday his concern about the course Brazil will take after the assumption to power of right-wing politician Jair Bolsonaro last January 1st.

In this regard, Brazilian journalist Kennedy Alencar posted on Twitter an outstanding Lula´s phrase for the documentary titled What Happened to Brazil, where the former president affirms in a letter: Let´s see where Bolsonaro will take the country.

Last Saturday, the BBC World News premiered this documentary about the last five years in Brazilian society. The series has three chapters of 23 minutes each and goes from June 2013, until the election and assumption of Bolsonaro.

Lula is kept at the Federal police headquarters in Curitiba, at Parana State, since last April, after being charged with alleged acts of corruption.
