CARACAS, Venezuela.- Jorge Arreaza, Venezuela’s Foreign Affairs Minister, said this Monday in response to the United States threats that “The more intense is imperial hostility the more the people have to go out into the streets and proving we are sovereign and dignified”.
The Bolivarian leader talked to a massive concentration in the Libertador Avenue in Caracas that marched to Miraflores Palace to express their support for Nicolas Maduro´s government.
Arreaza pointed out the United States would have to reflect on its threats, following the pronouncements in favor of Venezuela by international agencies, Latin America, China and Russia, “to be able to establish mutual respect relations with the northern country,” the Venezuelan Chancellor added.
“Here is our extended hand if you want to take it, but there is a fist also ready to defend the homeland of Bolivar and Chavez,” the head of Venezuelan diplomacy said.
