LA PAZ, Bolivia. – After the conclusion of the last oral hearing of Bolivia before the International Court of Justice demanding for maritime claims against Chile, President Evo Morales urged the preparation of a post-judgment strategy.

“We are doing well, but I want to tell you that the task continues, this type of work must be consolidated,” Morales said in asking the legal team that worked on the lawsuit and the delegation that went to The Hague, to outline the strategy of continuity of the topic.

The Bolivian President considered it is important to build bridges of understanding, adding that they have the great advantage that in international organizations and in the Chilean people there are those betting on a solution favorable to the Bolivian demand.

The head of State returned to La Paz after accompanying the oral allegations on Monday before the International Court of Justice of The Hague.
