LA PAZ, Bolivia. – More than 100 collaborators of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Bolivia participate in the Health Fair inaugurated this Friday with the presence of President Evo Morales.

Specialists in traumatology, neurology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, surgery, otolaryngology and angiology, among other fields, will offer until next Sunday free assistance to patients of limited means, Alina Ochoa, director of Medical Assistance of the brigade, said.

According to Dr. Ochoa, Cuban and Bolivian professionals from My Health program will also work at the fair. The program focuses on taking quality medical care to every home and at no cost.

The initiative promoted by President Morales´s government seeks to bring the medical services of Cuban and Bolivian health professionals closer to the humble sectors of the population.
