KINGSTON, Jamaica.- The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, arrived in Jamaica to attend the Thirty-ninth Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.
According to publications in Twitter by Cuban Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Sierra, the President attends the high level meeting to continue expanding the friendly link of the government in the area.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed on this website that his country’s relations with CARICOM are based on solidarity, collaboration and brotherhood, adding that the meeting in Jamaica is certainly one more step to strengthen these bonds of cooperation and take them to another development level.
Miguel Diaz-Canel is one of the special guests of the event, along with the Chilean President, Sebastian Pinera.
