SANTIAGO DE CHILE, Chile.- The Intendance of Santiago de Chile Metropolitan Region reported that there are 11 deaths in that district during the demonstrations against President Sebastian Pinera.

On the other hand, the National Institute of Human Rights in recent hours filed 11 legal actions for police violence, and urged the public to report irregularities.

The demonstrations had been triggered by the announcement of a considerable increase in the Santiago Metro, the approval of which was issued by the Ministry of Transport.
