HAVANA, Cuba.- The Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, congratulated the Venezuelan Government and people on the 207 years of the Declaration of Independence of the South American country.

Diaz-Canel ratified the commitment to strengthen brotherhood and cooperation between both nations, which is why the sovereignty of the two countries must be defended before the international claims, the Venezuelan news agency outlined.

According to the source, the Cuban President asserted that all peoples have the right to peace, well-being and genuine Latin American and Caribbean integration.
