HANOI,Vietnam.- Cuba directs its actions to promote the largest possible unity of Latin American and Caribbean revolutionaries, in the face of the new neo-liberal offensive led by the United States and its allies.

Jose Ramon Balaguer, head of the International Relations Department of the Communist Party of Cuba, pronounced these words at the opening session of a theoretical seminar with authorities of the Vietnamese homologous organization.

He pointed out that Washington’s prioritized goal is to overthrow leftist and progressive executives, for which they have improved subversion methods.

Balaguer said the Imperial plan also seeks to break the integration processes that took shape in recent years, from the Union of South American Nations to the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States.
