BRAZILIA, Brazil.- Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, son of Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro, is investigated for money laundering in the purchase of two luxury apartments in Rio de Janeiro.

According to a report by the Federal Police sent to the Attorney General’s Office, the patrimony of the legislator recorded an exceptional increase, after real estate businesses made between 2014 and 2017.

Bolsonaro´s son could have incurred in crimes of money laundering and ideological electoral falsehood, as published in these days O Globo newspaper.

The senator is also involved in a scandal of suspicious financing in the account of Fabricio Queiroz, who worked for him as an escort and driver during his stage as congressman in Rio de Janeiro.
