Havana, Cuba.-The 11th International Meeting on Accounting, Auditing and Finance begins today at the Conference Center in Havana with the participation of about 400 experts, to share the best experiences in this area.
The meeting is part of the contribution of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) to the implemention of a group of public policies in the country, the president of that organization, Oscar Luis Hung, said.
It also aims to find spaces to disseminate what the academy and professional practice are doing in the implementation of the guidelines and the conceptualization of the Cuban economic model.
All economic actors, such as state-owned companies, budgeted units, self-employed workers and cooperative farmers of the country, are involved in this dialogue, and in this way, share the experience of what is been doing, as well as international trends.
The event includes panels and commissions, and among the guest countries that will present papers are, in addition to Cuba, Mexico, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Chile, Colombia and Peru, vice president for scientific a ctivities at ANEC, Francisco Borras, stated.
The Congress includes launching of books and lectures on Cuban and foreign personalities, among them professor at La Sapienza University of Rome, Luciano Vasapollo.
