In a complex environment, Cuba needs economists´s contribution

HAVANA, Cuba.- In the economic battle is our independence today, Oscar Luis Hung, president of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) affirmed at the opening this Wednesday of the 4th International Meeting of Business Management and Administration, and the 13th Meeting on Accounting, Auditing and Finance.

Hung remarked that in an increasingly complex environment, the country needed the economists ‘contribution, with novel proposals that boost development.

The president of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba noted that, in both meetings, more than 100 presentations will address crucial issues of the Cuban economy, such as the state-owned company, productive chains, and local development, among others.

Gladys Hernandez, from the World Economics Research Center, gave a lecture on the evolution of the new Silk Road, and the insertion of Cuba into that great project.
