Havana, Cuba.- Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodriguez welcomed the Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform of Algeria, Mokhtar Hasbellaoui, in this capital, the Foreign Ministry reported today.

Hasbellaoui heads the wide official delegation that visits Cuba for the celebration of the XXI Session of the Intergovernmental Commission of economic, commercial, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between the two nations.

The official also met yesterday with the vice President of the government and Minister of Economy and Planning of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas.

Hasbellaoui expressed the will of his government to ‘continue developing and strengthening bilateral economic relations’.

This, he pinpointed, must be materialized with concrete actions in the sectors of health, biotechnology, water resources, sports, agriculture, basic education, higher education and the promotion of foreign trade and foreign investment.

All the aforementioned, the note indicates, on the basis of the solid historical relations existing between both governments.
