Washington, United States.- Cuban music will be appreciated again this Monday at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in the capital of the United States, with a concert by the band Sintesis.

The cultural institution’s Millennium Stage, which from May 8 to June 3, 2018, hosted the successful Artes de Cuba: From the Island to the World festival, will host the group, considered a pioneer in the fusion of rock, Cuban and African rhythms.

With a career spanning more than four decades, ‘SINTESIS is among the most avant-garde musical ensembles and one of the icons of Cuban contemporary music,’ according to the Kenndy Center’s website.

‘The band in its artistic journey, has defined a particular seal blending the African roots impregnated in the insular sound with currents of jazz and rock,’ the institution notes.
