HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, will hold a meeting with his Angolan counterpart, Joao Lourenco, who has been in Cuba since yesterday.
The distinguished visitor will also tour the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, the Mariel Special Zone of Development, and will meet with students from his nation.
As part of the visit of the President of Angola, they will sign several agreements in sectors of interest for trade and bilateral exchange.
Joao Lourenco arrived in the island in an official visit, which aims to strengthen friendly relations and bilateral cooperation between both peoples. Cuba and Angola have had relationships for more than 40 years, with an extensive collaboration in sectors such as health and education.
