HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, will participate in the central event on July 26, National Rebellion Day, which will take place tomorrow in the eastern province of Granma.

On July 26, 1953, a group of Cuban revolutionaries stormed Guillermon Moncada Barrack in Santiago de Cuba, and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Barrack in Bayamo, actions that initiated the libertarian gestation that culminated in the triumph of the Cuban Revolution on the January 1, 1959.
