MAPUTO, Mozambique.-The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez, highlighted the start of the activities of a field hospital sent by the island to Mozambique, after the passage of Cyclone Idai.
The hospital of campaign sent by Cuba to Mozambique came into operation in the city of Beira, and the Cuban health collaborators offer medical attention to the population of the zone, seriously affected by the cyclone, the Chancellor remarked.
Recently, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel announced in his Twitter account the sending of a hospital of campaign to Mozambique, to reinforce the medical attention of the Cuban professionals in that African nation.
From Cuba we send personnel, equipment and medicines to reinforce health care, assuming our solidarity and internationalist vocation, the President wrote in the network of networks.
