Arreaza rejected U.S. government sanctions against Iran’s Chancellor.

CARACAS, Venezuela. – Venezuela’s Chancellor Jorge Arreaza rejected recent U.S. government sanctions against Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The dignity of the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and of the free peoples of the world, is irreducible, the head of the Venezuelan diplomacy wrote on communication platform Twitter.

The U.S. Treasury Department’s measure froze Iran’s Foreign Minister alleged assets on U.S. territory, and it prohibits American citizens from doing business with him.

Iran has been the target of unilateral Washington sanctions after U.S. President Donald Trump decided on May 8, 2018 to abandon Tehran’s nuclear pact with six powers.
