HAVANA, Cuba. – Experts from twelve countries confirmed their assistance to the tenth International Symposium on Metrology, which will begin tomorrow at the Convention Palace of Havana.

The head of the National Metrology Service, engineer Fernando Arruza Rodriguez, reported that the group will be headed by the director of the International Bureau of Legal Metrology, Stephen Patoray, which includes representatives from Latin America.

Professionals from Cuba, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as Germany, Spain, Russia, Switzerland and Ukraine will take part in the International Symposium on Metrology.

Arruza Rodriguez added that the discussions will focus on the application of metrology results in industry, trade and services, as well as in two specialized workshops.
