Cuban President Raul Castro Ruz received this Friday the Special Envoy of the President of Angola, His Excellency Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, minister of National Defense and vice-president of the Popular Movement of Liberation Party.

During the meeting, they exchanged on the pace and perspectives of the political, economic and collaborative relations between the two nations. The distinguished visitor gave Raul a message from President Jose Eduardo dos Santos.

Angolan Ambassador Jose Cesar Augusto and Manuel Augusto, secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Angola, accompanied Gonçalves Lourenço.

By the Cuban side, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first Cuban vice-president; Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, vice-president of the Council of Ministers and chancellor Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla were present.
