HAVANA, Cuba. – Kenya’s head of state, Uhuru Kenyatta, arrived on Wednesday in Havana with a broad agenda, including the inauguration of his country’s Embassy in Cuba.

As part of his official visit to the island, which concludes next Saturday, the African President will hold official conversations with President Raul Castro.

Uhuru Kenyatta was received by Abelardo Moreno, Cuban Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and during his stay on the island will meet with other leaders and pay homage to the national hero, Jose Marti, as well as African leaders in the Park of Heroes, in the municipality of Playa.

In addition, the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kenya will sign a collaboration agreement next March16.
