HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, analyzes this Thursday important issues for the economy of the country during his visit to the central province of Sancti Spiritus.
The chain of defaults on the island, and the confrontation with fuel theft, stand out among the topics discussed with local authorities and Ministers.
As part of the visit concluding concluding this Thursday, Diaz-Canel met with professors and students at the Jose Marti University. During the tour of the city of Trinidad, the Minister of Tourism, Manuel Marrero, explained to the President the plan of development of this patrimonial city until 2030.
Marrero highlighted that at the moment two hotels and two 5-star foundations are in the process of completion in the town of Ancon. Diaz-Canel began the eve a government visit to Sancti Spiritus to tour places of social and economic interest.
