HAVANA, Cuba.- With the participation of the President of Latin American Federation of Journalists (FELAP), Juan Carlos Camano, World Press Freedom Day was held in Havana.

In the headquarters of the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC), there was a debate between professionals on the subject in the Latin American reality, and to pay tribute to the disappeared journalists.

According to Camano, the main battle scenario is in social networks; freedom of expression should be placed in the right context, where political discourse and the ideological message are increasingly going into the field of entertainment, he added.

For the Argentine professional, “We are in a setback that poses material and theoretical difficulties, but we advance in term of political construction, although we will have to go through a long way of difficulties.
