ARTEMISA, Cuba.- Fifty five years ago former Commander and Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, Raul Castro Ruz, founded the General Antonio Maceo Inter-force School in Caimito municipality, in the province of Artemisa.

In the higher level teaching institution, there are fifteen majors on the profiles of political and engineering command. The center is endowed with a modern material base of study, supported by the latest technologies on informatics and communications.

Doctors of Science, masters, engineers and graduates have graduated more than 30 thousand students who currently hold management positions from the base to the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.

The General Antonio Maceo Inter-force School stands out in the field of science and technology, and it was the first institution in the country to receive the Antonio Maceo Order in 1984.
