CARACAS, Venezuela.-The Venezuelan authorities ratified their willingness to confront the speculative crisis, as part of the economic aggression promoted by internal factors against the Bolivarian Revolution, with support from the outside.

Last week some 180 Christmas Sovereign Countryside Fairs, as they are called, attended to more than one million families as a sample of the governmental will to face the pressing problem of shortage and speculation the Venezuelan live.

The Minister of Food, Luis Medina, explained the products will gradually reach all the Local Supply and Production Committees in the country.

Freddy Bernal, Minister of Urban Agriculture, reported that purchase at these fairs is pre-paid, to avoid insider resellers, with the check of lists by the heads of street.
