Humanitarian aid from Venezuela.

CARACAS, Venezuela.- The Minister of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace of Venezuela, Nestor Reverol, announced a plane from the Bolivarian National Armed Force will leave for Cuba with 12 tons of humanitarian aid supplies.

Reverol explained that after knowing the serious affections suffered, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said in a meeting with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel, that aid will be send urgently as tangible expression of ethical support.

The diplomat emphasized that the affectations forced the authorities of the island to evacuate thousands of people so as not to mourn human losses They will receive the gesture of the Bolivarian revolution and of the Civic-Military Union.

Maduro said the executive Vice-President, Tarek El Aissami, to coordinate aid for the Cuban people, affected by the intense rains and floods caused by subtropical storm “Alberto”.
