NEW YORK, United States. – Broad sectors of American society join the world in the rejection of the blockade Washington imposes Cuba for more than half a century, activist Ike Nahem said this Thursday.
In an interview with Prensa Latina news agency, the Coordinator of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba in New York pointed out this condemnation to the economic, commercial and financial siege against Cuba will be ratified on November 1st, on the basis of the vote at the United Nations on a new draft resolution demanding its end.
Next Wednesday we will have mobilizations of solidarity with Cuba and claiming the lifting of blockade in many parts of the planet, including American and Canadian cities, Nahem underlined.
According to the activist, the Big Apple is expected to witness the greatest examples of support in the Union to the Cuban people and their struggle against the unfair measure.
