The Mothers of Plaza de Mayo will give tomorrow to the former Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, the historic white headscarf, a symbol of the struggle for their missing children during the last Argentine civic-military dictatorship.

The ceremony will coincide with the presentation of the Rodolfo Walsh Award, which the Faculty of Journalism and Social Communication of the University of La Plata, in Buenos Aires, will confer to Rousseff.

Hebe de Bonafini, president of Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, said: We are very happy to deliver the headscarf to Dilma, especially at this time, a headscarf embroidered by one of our mothers, letter by letter, which represents the embrace of our children.

Last December, in her most recent visit to Buenos Aires, Rousseff was also honored with several recognition, including the Honorary Doctorate from Jose Clemente Paz University.
