PARIS, France.- According to a government study, 54 per cent of French small and medium-sized enterprises would not be ready for the UK exit from the European Union.

The survey conducted by the Directorate-General for Business of the Ministry of Economy and Finance found that of the 3,000 Gallic companies that trade with Britons, more than half report not knowing the effects of Brexit.

The Secretary of State attached to the Ministry, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, expressed concern, because she is not satisfied before the fact that most companies acknowledge they did not have examined the consequences of the UK’s exit from the European Union.

The official did not hide her alarm by expressing her displeasure and urged French companies not to waste time in their preparation for Brexit.
