Commemoration in Venezuela on Bolivarian Navy Day.

CARACAS, Venezuela. – The President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, headed this Monday the commemorative ceremony for the Bolivarian Navy Day and the anniversary 194 of the naval battle of Lake Maracaibo.

At the Naval School in the state of Vargas, Maduro called on the Venezuelan Marines to resume the glories of those who won in the naval battle of Cabrian, 200 years ago, and the courage of those who triumphed in Maracaibo.

Maduro pointed out the patriotic celebration coincides with the 234 years of Liberator Simon Bolívar´s birth, and marks the beginning of a decisive week for the people of Venezuela.

There could not be a better way to start the week celebrating the birth of the Liberator, we must resume his courage and delivery in times when we must take the challenges presented to us, the head of the Bolivarian State asserted.
