TEL AVIV, Israel.- Naftali Bennett. Israeli Minister of Education, urged the American government to condemn the use of Nazi symbols in the white supremacist protest held last Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“The freedom to raise Nazi flags and symbols in the United States is not only offensive to the Jewish community and other minorities, but also dishonors the millions of American soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the American Union and the whole world from the Nazis”, Bennett said in a statement.

Bennett, one of the most popular leaders in the Jewish nation, called on American leaders to condemn and denounce the manifestations of anti-semitism observed in recent days.

Thousands of white nationalists clashed with opposition groups during the Unite the Right March in the Emancipation Park in Charlottesville.
