ROME, Italy.- Italian police authorities arrested five people during an anti-terrorist raid in the city of Latina, about 70 kilometers south of Rome.
According to the press, one of the detainees is a Palestinian accused of training and activities related to international terrorism, while the others are Tunisian imputed by association to commit crime for the falsification of documents and to encourage clandestine immigration.
The authorities indicate that the Palestinian after a process of radicalization accessed to propaganda videos to join as combatant to the so-called Islamic State, and through some of the audiovisual materials he sought information to carry out an attack with firearms.
The other arrested people are part of the circle of old relations of Tunisian Anis Amri, author of the terrorist attack in Berlin two years ago.
