Haddad denounced the dirty campaign and falsehoods against his candidacy.
RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil. – The presidential candidate of the Brazilian Workers’ Party, Fernando Haddad, denounced this Wednesday a media campaign against him, which attributed to followers of right-wing aspirant Jair Bolsonaro.
These actions of discredit and false news coincided with another pre-election survey that gave Haddad 23 percent of the intention to vote four days before the election, and the possibility of defeating Bolsonaro in runoff.
Regarding this survey, former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva called not to be intimidated by campaigns against Haddad but to fight for his candidacy so that the Brazilian people be happy again.
On the eventual triumph of Bolsonaro, Sole Center for the Workers of Brazil warned that it will have irreparable consequences because trade union and social movements and democratic organizations run the risk of being exterminated.
