Thanks to the agreement signed by Evo Morales, Bolivia will have three new wind farms.

SUCRE, Bolivia. – With the purpose of increasing energy generation in Bolivia, President Evo Morales signed a credit agreement for the construction of three wind farms in Santa Cruz Department.

In this way, the financing by Danish bank Danske Bank is allowed for the construction of San Julian, El Dorado and Warnes parks; likewise, the transfer of external credit resources to the National Power Company is authorized.

The project, with an investment of almost 200 million dollars, will contribute 108 megawatts to the National Interconnected System, Bolivian Energy Minister Rafael Alarcon said.

For his part, the President of the Andean Amazon nation thanked in his speech to the Development Cooperation Agency from Denmark, for the donation of 24 million dollars to this wind program
