CARACAS, Venezuela. – The National Constituent Assembly in Venezuela elected this Friday Delcy Rodriguez as president, and Aristobulo Isturiz and Isaias Rodriguez as first and second Vice-Presidents, at the first session at the Federal Legislative Palace.

The proposal to integrate the Assembly´s Executive was made in the Elliptical Hall of the palace by Deputy Diosdado Cabello, first Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and approved unanimously by the members of the new constitutional body.

Fidel Vazquez as secretary and Carolys Perez as assistant secretary are also part of the team, responsible for big decisions and to face the next challenges, Cabello remarked.

For her part, the new President of the National Constituent Assembly, together with the other members of the Executive, were sworn before all the constituents.
