Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- The Dominican Campaign of Solidarity with Cuba welcomed the International Day of Support for Venezuela, to be held in that nation from March 5 to 8.
In a letter addressed to the organizers of the Conference, to which Prensa Latina had access, the Campaign’s leadership highlights the importance of the event as a way to remind the ‘self-proclaimed police of the world (United States) that Venezuela is not alone, nor will it be.’
In the letter, they reiterate the confidence that the Venezuelan government will continue to receive orders only from its people, building its own path and distributing its assets with equity.
It also states that the government and people together will continue to face any internal or external threats as worthy receivers of the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez’.
Finally, the document points out that the friends of Cuba and of all the peoples engaged in fighting for their self-determination ‘will be there to accompany them, no matter if the moments of the struggle are of abundance or difficulties’.
