VIENNA, Austria.- The President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, Dr. Anton Zeilinger, received this Tuesday Elba Rosa Perez, Cuban Minister of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba, to analyze the relations of cooperation and topics of common interest.

During the meeting, which the parties described as cordial and relaxed, the highest representatives of sciences in the two countries reviewed advances in the implementation of the memorandum of understanding, effective up to 2020.

Zeilinger and Perez devoted particular attention to the means to strengthen the cooperation ties between Austria and Cuba, specifically in the fields of modern science and advanced technologies.

The memorandum of understanding promotes the development of cooperation in several areas of science and humanities, and makes the exchange between the scientific centers of both countries.
