cuba-educacion-presco-congHavana, Cuba.-The International Congress on Law, Abogacia 2016, concludes today in this capital with debates on ethics and professional projection of lawyers and the challenges of the labor right.

Keynote speeches on issues related to international commercial arbitration, the current problems of that field in Cuba and Latin America, and civil justice, will be also under discussion today.

During the initial days of the meeting, opened on Wednesday, October 12, at the Conference Center in Havana, delegates presented papers on issues such as Civil and Family Law; the exercise of criminal defense; economic, commercial and financial disputes; and agricultural disputes.

According to the National Organization of Collective Law Offices, about 800 delegates between Cubans and foreigners are attending Abogacia 2016. The objective is to exchange experiences and enhance their academic and professional qualifications.

Among the issues and success among participants during the first two days and the pre-congress courses are those relating to the management and solution of conflicts in commercial and economic matters.

According to the delegates, the meeting -carried out annually since 2012- is a good opportunity to improve the preparation of lawyers, and share with colleagues from different countries.
