Havana Fair, a look to the future

The Havana International Fair continues on its third day.

HAVANA, Cuba.- The Fourth Investment Forum, a space where domestic and foreign investors exchanged about future businesses in various sectors, took place this Wednesday as part of the Havana International Fair.

During the third day of the largest trade exchange in the country, the national days of Panama and CARICOM were also held, while the call for the International Transport Fair 2020 was launched.

The Iron and Mechanical Business Group, from the Ministry of Industries, presented its exportable products made in its 52 companies, immersed in a process of technological investment.

GESIME’s head of Export Department, Yamile Gonzalez, stated that the group is a supplier of leading products, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean, such as coal steel staffing, flat head nails, copper wire and irrigation systems.

Havana Club Presents New Dark Rum at Havana Fair

A new dark and powerful rum, with smoked notes born from exclusive mixtures of rum bases, aged in ships of San Jose Distillery, was presented this Wednesday by Havana Club International S.A, at the 37th Havana International Fair, in Expocuba.

The Director of Sales and Marketing, Ahmed Alvarez, reported that Havana Club Cuban Smoky will only be marketed in our country soon through the network of stores with a price of 20, 90 CUC.

Alvarez claimed this is a one hundred percent Cuban rum, and has five bases conveying it unique characteristics of aroma and flavor, designed for daring, responding to a global trend of making drinks with a certain ending.

The official pointed out that Cuban Smoky was born to demonstrate the versatility of our founding rum, and will allow to connect with new, less knowledgeable audiences.

Labiofam´s Portfolio of Opportunities at Havana Fair

Labiofam S.A. this Wednesday presented in the context of the Havana International Fair its portfolio of foreign investment opportunities, aimed at increasing its productions.

The head of the Group’s Communication Department, Yaritza Cabrera, reported that business opportunities seek to modernize and expand Paraiso, probiotic yogurt production plant of Matanzas and a new one in Villa Clara.

Cabrera noted that it is also a question of expanding and modernizing two plants of Spirulina of the GENIX Company and the Glucose Producer of Cienfuegos.

The Labiofam Group, belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture, has a presence in 60 countries, with a wide range of food and cosmetic products, homeopathic products, bio-pesticides for vector control, and bio-products for agricultural use.
