Rome, Italy.- The Italian humanitarian association Seeds of Peace, has launched an international student initiative to welcome the upcoming International Conference for the Balance of the World that will begin on January 28 in Cuba.

A statement released by the organization on Tuesday says that it is a project of its Center for Studies on Peace and Fraternity among Peoples, and that some 1,400 students and 1,335 teachers from schools in Italy, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mexico and the Dominican Republic participate.

Luca Bondi, president of Seeds of Peace, informed Prensa Latina that the purpose is to present at the Havana International Conference Center, the venue of the event, which will be held in Havana until January 31, as well as at the National Library of Cuba a total of 218 works by the students, in salute to this world meeting.

On January 17, 2025, that association announced the participation of 11 of its members in this international conference, convened by the José Martí International Solidarity Project, dedicated to dialogue between civilizations and the culture of peace, with the presence of thousands of delegates from more than 90 countries.
